12-09-28 Friday 179 days of riding 17 miles today – Short ride into Jacksonville, Oregon and began a few days of visiting family, refurbishing the trike and having fun

loaded up and heading out – short 17 miles to Jacksonville – should be to Aunt and Uncle’s home early.

The flag poles are down so the Trike could go under the pole gate across the road – the campground was closed for the season.

12-09-22 Saturday 173 Days riding- 25 miles – A day to rest and step back in time in old sea side cabin.

: stopped here for lunch – peanut butter and Marmalade tortilla rolls

: after hanging out at Gold Beach deciding which way to go I decided to stay and go to church Sunday Morning These 1930s era cabins are cheap and really neat inside.

: Comes with a kitchen, bath and bedroom nice and clean from a different time.

: Watched the sun set for seemingly 30 min. Overwhelming grandure with a promise of more tomorrow.

: The end of very good day.

12-09-21 Friday 172 Days riding- 37 miles – Now Today was a good day rolling along, Good folks, campfire and Marshmallows.

: Finally found some blueberries to pick – still cheaper than the store. Have not found the wild ones yet

: darn the lights aren’t flashing for a good tail wind.

: sounds like some of the stuff we are still doing today in government.

: I am glad we did not have to go up the mountain to get here. a really good day

: The moon over Humbug Mountain Camp – Great campfire, with marshmellows with Dave and Mary and another travel couple from the last few days. Good conversations leaning stuff.

12-09-20 Thursday 171 Days riding- 44.5 miles – Rested and rolling,and then The SEVEN DEVILS.

: off on a cloudy day a little drizzly so packed up the tent rain fly wet. Stopped dripping but stayed cloudy and cool

: really neat veterns memorial with a bridge in background.

: This ought to be a really good bridge to cross. The design and colors are great.

: The train bridge across the going into North Bend. Oregon.

: The side walk is closed – so I am in the car lane – no problems here.

: I wonder if a eventually the roof will have too much weight on it.

: Rolling along the other side of Coos Bay.

: The name of this road is very much on target. It was one tough grade after the other and at the end of a good 44 mile day.

: The hiker Biker camp at Bullard Beach – this place is full. Lots of conversations, discussion, and ideas and opions bantered about. No Racoons though.

12-09-19 Wednesday 170 Days riding- 6 miles – The Raccoon had worn me out I just went to next Campground to recoup.

: leaving the Umpqua Lighthouse and the Racoons.- I am beat and keep tasting pepper spray every time I lick my lip.

: Tugman State Park a short 6 miles away – only me in the hiiker biker section. road into town to wash cloths, had really great hot shower a restfull night – no varmets here
