- At the top of most cliff rises today have been spectacular views of where I am headed.

- Being on a Recumant Trike really makes seeing this little views with out a turnout very nice.

- Sometimes the back roads are a little closer to the edge than than the Main Highway.

- This couple stopped for a few minutes as they passed me. They are from Switzerland and started a year long bicycle ride 2 months ago.

- Yes local Fox Glove along the road, yes it is very hilly. and since I am on the coast the ride will be a net elevation gain of 0 feet. Althougth I will climb 1500 feet up and then down

- 09-15 Sat It is a beautiful morning to get started down the coast.

- Now we are on the coast – south of Tillimook, Ore moving along. I am sure to run out of adjavites for this section of the journey.

- finally lots of berries just on the side of the road – These are so ripe you can hold the cup underthem and gently shake them off the vine. (well a lot of them anyway)

- this is were I made it to on day one down the coast 49.5 miles and feeling good. Stayed at the Hiker Biker section of the campground with a hot shower. Meet up with the couple from Switzerland, who shared dinner with me. They cook real food not just boil water and add.stuff, with a fresh salad as well.
