- The start of the Alaska Highway in Dawson Creek BC. Wow we are way up here on the map.
- adjusting the wagon wheel – everyday something needs adjusting, fixing etc. glad to have my new leatherman tool.
- the country side out side of Dawson Creek, BC
- Maybe we did not get far enough ahead to get out of the rain and catch up on days.
- Lots of traffic out of Dawson – we see quite a few of these emergency medical trucks – since Canada has government medical – each company is required to provide on site level 1 medical unit for every 10 workers and level 3 emergency care for every 30. With all the work in the gas and oil and lumber that is a lot of medical units each company has to provide. The public BC ambulance had another cut back due to budget and now remote places get ambulance service in as little as 8 hours. I guess the private companies get to do it better.
