- stopped and Talked with Chris a young fellow(Late 20’s) who farms 700 acres and runs 250 head of cattle He explained the yellow flowers is winter Canola bean crops. It is in the Bronk stage and grows up to 6 inches in a day until developing the seed pods. also the winter Canola oil is used for industrial oils not food stuff.
